Frequently Asked Questions about my Custom Logo Design service

Below is a list of commonly asked questions about logo design. If you have any questions of your own please don't hesitate to get in touch.

  • What is a logo?

A logo is a visual representation of the company and is often used to communicate the company’s key message, value and position in the market.

  • Do I need to have a logo?

Not every business owner will choose to have a logo. Those that do choose to have one to communicate a consistent message to their customers. The main objective of the logo is to give a company a visual identity, be recognisable and memorable – and importantly set the right impression.

  • How can I be sure that I'll get a quality logo?

All of my logos are uniquely designed, I do not use clip art or logo generators. Please view my work and read my independent reviews to see what other customers think.

  • How does payment work?

I accept all major credit and debit cards. Payment is taken via a secure online payment facility Stripe or you can pay using PayPal or BACS transfer. Payment is taken in full before the design process starts. The reason for this is to stop those abusing the process and stealing my ideas!

  • How many changes to the logo can I make?

All of my logo packages come with unlimited design revisions. There are rare occasions where this doesn’t apply, please see my terms and conditions for more details.

  • Can I claim a refund on my logo design?

If you are unhappy with the first draft logo concepts and think there is no way in which we can work together then I do offer a 50% refund. If you have proceeded to make any revisions to the first draft logo concepts then refunds are strictly not issued beyond this stage. It is extremely rare that I have to issue refunds as my process is designed so that I fully understand your requirements before I begin any work. Only logo orders are eligible for refunds as per these terms, not any other design work.

  • Can I submit my own ideas for my logo?

Yes, of course! There is a section on my logo brief form especially for you to contribute your ideas, examples of the logos you like and anything else you want our designer to know.

  • Do I own the copyright of the design of my logo?

I transfer all the ownership rights of your logo to you once you have confirmed in writing that you are happy with the final design. This only applies to the finished logo and not the other concepts. Please note copyright is not a trademark and obtaining a trademark is a process that you would need to undertake yourself. Please see my terms and conditions for more details.

  • What if I want to buy another of the design concepts?

You can purchase any of the other design concepts I have created for you, with full copyright and ownership rights for £100 per additional logo.

  • Can you redo / improve my existing company logo?

Yes. You can send in your existing logo and I will redraw it according to your instructions and will submit your new file formats for printing and publishing.

  • What file formats will I get with my packages

I supply all necessary print and web file formats which include: .EPS (Adobe Illustrator Vector File), .SVG, .JPEG, .PNG, .PSD.

  • What if I want more/different file formats?

That’s absolutely fine. I can provide different file formats on request. Please just ask!

  • How will the final files of my logo design be delivered?

Your final file formats will be delivered to you via email in a zip file.

  • What software do you use to create the logo design?

We work with Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign which are industry standards for producing graphic design.

  • How can I use my logo?

The formats I supply your final logo in are in a design industry universal standard and are therefore accepted all over the world.
